| Thirty Years of History |

| Summer 1971 A group of interested folks met at the high school to discuss the possibility of building a care center in Solon. A steering committee was formed, then a corporation was founded. |

| December 1972 1024 shares had been sold to residents of the Solon community for $100 each and the land was purchased from the Frank Krob Estate. Solon would have a care center. |
| |
| September 22-23, 1973 An Open House was held for the completed facility and the first resident moved in the very next day. By January 1974, occupancy was at 100% with 45 residents. |

| January 1976 The South wing was added accommodating 23 more residents. Included were a chapel, an office, a small dining room, and a second shower room. |
| |
| September 1983 SNCC held it’s tenth year celebration. The care center was nearly paid for. The Board of Directors began discussion to offer more to the community by building Independent Living Condominiums. |

| March 1986 The Terrace Lane Retirement Village was completed and residents began moving into their condos. |
| |
| May 1990 Residents took an active part in Solon’s Sesquicentennial. |
| |
| Summer 1991 The Gazebo was added and the patio was formed. |
| |
| January 1998 The Board of Directors discussed the need of even more Independent Living. |
| |
| September 1998 SNCC celebrated their twenty-fifth anniversary and the re-decorating of the facility. |
| |
| August 1999 The Open House of Terrace Lane Glen was held. |
